NI Names G Systems 2016 Partner of the Year for the Americas
We’re wrapping up a successful week at the 22nd annual NIWeek conference in Austin Texas. We’ve attended this conference since its start and are always inspired by the new technology from our colleagues and excited to showcase our latest innovations as well. But this year was exceptional. On Monday, during the Alliance Day awards luncheon, National Instruments honored G Systems as the 2016 Regional Partner of the Year for the Americas.
This award recognizes our significant growth and innovation over the past year as well as our successful, long-term collaboration with NI, an industry leader in test and measurement. We are a Gold NI Alliance Partner, have been part of the Alliance Partner program since 1990, and have a history of designing and developing proven, successful test systems based on NI hardware and software. Check out a few of these applications:
- Developing Structural Test Systems for a Space Exploration Vehicle
- A Test Cell for Mission-Critical Aerospace Gearbox Testing
- Building an F-35 Vehicle Systems Integration Facility Data Acquisition System
Strong partnerships, like the one we have with NI, ensure that we can deliver the best possible technology and service to help our customers achieve their business goals. This award is recognition of our ability to leverage NI’s innovative technologies to deliver the highest quality solutions that meet our customers’ most complex requirements.
We demonstrated a few of those solutions at NIWeek, including a new VSAT component test system rack and a newly updated dynamic signal buffered splitter. The VSAT Transmitter and Receiver Test Station is a low cost COTS-based test station for testing transmitters and receivers used in a VSAT (Very Small Aperture Terminal) antenna. The Dynamic Signal Buffered Splitter protects sound and vibration sensor acquisitions from the unwanted effects of a parallel troubleshooting or diagnostic instruments and provides buffered and unbuffered outputs connected to the same signal input.
