We Developed a Flexible F-35 VSIF "Iron Bird" Data Acquisition System That Has Run 24/7 for Nearly 15 Years

We were challenged to develop an integrated system that can acquire various types of “Iron Bird” data for Lockheed Martin Aeronautics to use in the F-35 Vehicle Systems Integration Facility (VSIF). After nearly 15 years running 24/7, the high-channel-count system is still going strong. Our flexible DAQ system, distributed across several servers for load balancing and required performance, includes a distributed software architecture with six custom applications to meet current requirements and future expansion for this next generation war fighter.

Our New Radome Test System Validates Accurate Radome Repair and Helps Keep Aircraft Passengers Safe 

Aircraft radomes are sometimes damaged by birdstrikes, hail or other items; these damaged radomes need repair to perform accurately. A customer of G Systems specializes in structural radome repair. We recently created a test system to validate post-repair aircraft radome functionality. The test is now performed in the same location as the radome repair. Our customer saves time and money with onsite use of our aircraft radome test system, shown in this video
