Decades of Success with Lockheed Martin: Mitigating Risk with Experience and Expertise

For nearly two decades, G Systems has designed and developed a wide variety of test systems for several divisions across Lockheed Martin. How to Get Started with Derived Channels in LabVIEW

Your system has all the hardware to measure all your signals. Now how do you get measurements from relative channels, such as a Rosette strain measurement, which are dependent on three physical channels? Is there a way to measure cumulative volume or even a delta pressure? These formulas vary by the test, so how can you create a dynamic calculator to get these results in real time? Typically, these channels are calculated in post processing.

How to Develop a Rugged, High-Speed Streaming Measurement System

16 Channels at 1 Million Samples per Second per Channel Simultaneously 

Fortis Testing in Lubbock, TX, contacted G Systems to develop a high-speed streaming system for capturing pressure waves generated by explosions during structural blast testing. Requirements included 16 channels, fast sampling and the ability to trigger high-speed cameras with configurable delays to record video documentation of the explosion.

G Systems’ solution is a rugged, high-speed streaming measurement system with the ability to collect 16 channels at 1 million samples per second simultaneously.
