Lynda Harrell, G Systems’ Founder and Chief Executive Officer, has over 30 years of executive leadership experience in automated test and measurement across multiple industries, including aerospace and defense, telecom, oil & gas, and biomedical. Lynda also has technical expertise in the design and development of large, distributed control and acquisition systems, test enterprise database, and data management and analysis systems.
As CEO and Founder, Lynda has led the evolution of G Systems for nearly 30 years from a software engineering services firm, to a full-service system integration company offering engineering design services, mechanical and electrical system build, manufacturing and assembly. She leads a team that designs and builds complex test systems that ensure customer designs and products are functional, accurate, safe and effective. Lynda has a track record of achieving profitable, revenue growth and establishing a company culture that promotes retention of a long-tenured quality, skilled employees.
Lynda earned a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science from the University of Texas at Austin, and is a graduate of the CMBA Program at the McCombs Graduate School of Business at the University of Texas at Austin. In addition, Lynda has continued her executive education with custom leading high growth business programs taught by leaders of the Harvard Business School’s Entrepreneurial Management Program. Lynda recently won a scholarship to Harvard Business School’s prestigious Owner/President Management (OPM) Program as a Heading to Harvard winner speaking at the Women Presidents’ Organization’s annual conference.
Dave Baker is the Senior Vice President of Engineering and Manufacturing and has been with G Systems since 1997. He has extensive technical and project management experience in aerospace and defense projects such as the F-35 Vehicle Systems Integration Facility, the Orion Crew Module Structural Test Facility, the MK41 Vertical Launch System Next Gen Tester, MKV Common Core Test Sets, NLOS CLU Common Core Test Sets and LRLAP Projectile Spin Fixture. Dave holds a patent in the field of automated flow test system design.
Dave leads a multi-disciplinary team at G Systems where his responsibilities include technical oversight, process development, and team management.
Dave graduated from University of Colorado with a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering and graduate work in Engineering Management. He is a Certified LabVIEW Architect.
Mark Krause joined G Systems in April 2019 and brings a wealth of expertise to his position as Vice President of Sales and Marketing. His 23 years of business development, engineering, and supply chain management experience in the aerospace and defense industry make him a natural fit for the G Systems team. A proven problem solver, Mark supports G Systems’ customers through honesty, transparency, agility, and flexibility.
Mark is a graduate of Letourneau University and holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Aerospace Science and Design Technology. He also holds an MBA, with a concentration in Entrepreneurship and Business Strategy, from the University of Texas at Dallas. Mark served eight years in the United States Marine Corps., speaks fluent Spanish, and lived 18 years in Central America.
Russell Blake is the Director of Engineering and is responsible for technical program management, team management, and process improvement. He has been involved in the entire life cycle on hundreds of projects, from a rugged portable military embedded test system that is used in the field all over the world to an automated test system with thousands of data acquisitions used for the Orion space capsule’s structural testing.
In 2007, Russell received the NIWeek Best Application Virtual Instrumentation award for "Rugged Line Replacement Unit Field Testers based on NI CompactRIO" in the Aerospace/Defense category, and his article, “Developing a Rugged Military Test Instrument”, was published in the November 2011 edition of Evaluation Engineering.
Russell holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering from The University of Texas at Austin and a Master of Science degree in Engineering Management from Southern Methodist University. He is a Certified LabVIEW Architect, Certified LabVIEW Embedded Systems Developer, and Certified Professional Instructor. He is a member of IEEE and IEEE Instrumentation and Measurement Society.
Craig has been with G Systems since 2005 and was promoted in 2017 to Director of Production. His responsibilities include coordinating with other managers to formulate requirements and objectives, estimating costs, preparing budgets, and monitoring production and quality to meet specifications and deadlines. Craig was stationed aboard United States Navy submarines at Pearl Harbor, working in nuclear power plants.
