We design and build successful test and automation systems for military applications. We know the standards, regulations, and demands of the defense industry, ensuring the systems created meet exact specifications and are delivered on time and on budget. Leading prime contractors have trusted us to design and/or build hundreds of test systems.
Our industry experience and proven track record, coupled with ITAR compliance, FAR/DFARS knowledge, in-depth experience with COTS platforms, prime and classification as a woman-owned small business, make us an ideal integrator for solutions that must meet exact regulatory, time, and budget specifications.
In 2015, G Systems was awarded a $6.7 million contract by the Naval Surface Warfare Center to integrate and build automated test equipment for the U.S. Navy’s MK 41 Vertical Launching System (VLS).
The MK 41 VLS is a modular, below deck missile launching system that was designed for the Navy’s guided missile cruisers to provide air threat protection. The contract included three specialized test units, the Control Module Automatic Verification Equipment, the Module Automated Test Equipment, and the Launch Sequencer Automated Test Equipment. In total, we delivered 24 individual test systems with test cable assemblies.
We developed an integrated system, using custom designed software, to acquire various types of data including: analog, digital, video and additional data transferred from other systems through reflective memory. The system, used by Lockheed Martin Aeronautics in the F-35 Vehicle Systems Integration Facility (VSIF), monitors aircraft sub-systems integration tests. Additional components included a real-time display capability and the ability to easily manage all components of the system from transducer setup to data management.
